Los Angeles Wildfire Relief, Southern California

Following the catastrophic January 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) mobilized to aid the devastated. Members opened their homes, provided essential items, and set up a "LA Fires Service Team." They served warm meals, including pizzas and chai, daily for a month to wildfire victims at the Pasadena shelter. SSSIO also supported FEMA volunteers with meals and donated a microwave to those in need.

Labor Day Service at Mossyrock, Seattle Eastside, WA

Guided by the spirit of "Love expresses itself as service," eleven volunteers from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Seattle Eastside, WA, spent Labor Day weekend restoring cabins at Mossyrock. This six-acre property is being developed into a peaceful retreat space in the Cascade foothills. Volunteers performed tasks like mowing, clearing, and insulating, and left with gratitude for experiencing the joy of helping create this sanctuary for people to reconnect with nature and Divinity.

Community Baby Shower, Ft. Lauderdale, FL

The Sri Sathya Sai Center of Fort Lauderdale, FL, hosted a parenting booth at the Deerfield Beach Community Baby Shower for 200 new and expectant parents on July 19, 2025. They promoted the W.A.T.C.H. parenting initiative (Words, Actions, Thoughts, Character, Heart), emphasizing how parental behavior models values. Volunteers promoted the importance of story time and gifted families with values-based children's books.

Cherokee Park Cleanup, Louisville, KY

In less than two hours, ten members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Louisville, KY, efficiently removed trash, including plastic bottles and food packaging, from creeks, fields, and roads. The effort left the popular spot significantly cleaner, renewing the volunteers' personal commitment to being environmental stewards.

Swami Sarvapriyananda at Sai Unity Center, Lowell, MA

Swami Sarvapriyananda was invited to talk on "Love All, Serve All – The Four Yogas" at the Sai Unity Center at Lowell, MA, as part of a public outreach effort by the Sri Sathya Sai Centers of the Greater Boston area. Addressing Sri Sathya Sai Baba’ maxim “Love All, Serve All”, he stressed that all spiritual practice (yoga) must lead to universal love and selfless service, as they are two sides of devotion. Drawing from Vedanta, he explained that serving others is actually serving the same Divine Self in everyone ("Love ONE, Serve ONE").

Keep Irving Beautiful, Irving, TX

A total of 48 members of Sri Sathya Sai Center of Irving, TX, including SSE students, participated in the Keep Irving Beautiful (KIB) Service activity on 27 September 2025. KIB is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the community about reducing litter, recycling, and beautifying Irving city and its parks. Picking up trash in T. W. Richardson Grove Park, Sai volunteers had a joyful time and, at the same time, learned a valuable lesson in the importance of keeping Mother Earth clean.

SSE 2025 Graduation Ceremony, Fairfax, VA

Seven shining stars graduated! The Sri Sathya Sai Center of Fairfax, VA, celebrated its Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) graduands on June 1, 2025. Teachers offered heartfelt praise, urging the graduands to let human values be their guide for making wise choices. The young adults shared how SSE had transformed them into confident and grounded individuals, ready to carry Swami's teachings forward into the world.

Sai Career Connections, Detroit Metro Center, MI

Selecting a career can be overwhelming! To help SSE Group 3 & 4 students (Grades 9-12) find clarity, the Sri Sathya Sai Center Detroit Metro, MI, launched "Sai Career Connections." This unique event leveraged the expertise of Sai professionals to guide youth toward fulfilling careers. Students interacted with engineers, entrepreneurs, doctors, and designers in a supportive environment, focused on building self-confidence and encouraging students to pursue goals with passion and purpose. This project shows how the Sai community can support academic success while reinforcing the principle human values and character make work rewarding.

Serving With Love at the Utah Foodbank, Salt Lake City, UT

"Hands that help are holier than lips that pray," the team sorted and packed food donations and beans for families in need, directly supporting the Food Bank’s mission to fight hunger across Utah. The day was marked by camaraderie, joy and devotion, leaving participants deeply moved and spiritually fulfilled by serving others with love..
