Animal care: Memphis, TN
On December 14, 2025, fourteen children and three adults from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Memphis, TN, served sheltered dogs at the Grace Animal Hospital. The youth prepared gift bags filled with blankets and toys, alongside handmade cards. This initiative cultivated empathy and compassion, teaching students that small acts done sincerely make a meaningful difference. By serving vulnerable animals, the children embodied the core principle: "Love All, Serve All."

From Farm toTable - Kindness at the local library: North Bergen, NJ
The Sri Sathya Sai Center of Jersey City, NJ, has expanded its community partnership with the North Bergen Library, beyond providing free biannual health fair services. Members assist with weekly fresh produce distributions every Thursday. Launched in September 2025, in collaboration with the Coalition for Food and Health Equity, Sai Center members volunteer at the library with the Coalition’s weekly grocery distribution of farm-fresh vegetables to underserved residents. Sai volunteers ensure accessibility through providing home deliveries and shelter donations, embodying the spirit of selfless service

Miles to Go Packing: Orlando, Fl
Nine volunteers of the Sri Sathya Sai Group in Orlando, FL, spent a Saturday, packing toiletry bags with Miles to Go Charities. Together, they provided essentials like shirts, hygiene kits, and snacks for the local homeless community. More than a service project, it was a vibrant celebration of compassion with local food trucks, music, and games. It was also a reminder that as long as we have people in need, there are always "miles to go" in our journey of selfless service.

100 Blankets to celebrate Sathya Sai Baba’s Centennial: Pacific North Region
Inspired by Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s message of selfless service, Sai volunteers in the Pacific North Region crafted 100 blankets for toddlers in need. Sparked by a Sai devotee with a talent in knitting, forty volunteers used loom knitting to ensure those without prior experience could participate. Partnering with the nonprofit KidVantage, this "love-in-action" initiative provided winter warmth and fostered unity, proving how collective compassion can transform a simple stitch into a meaningful offering...

National Service Day 2025: Mid-Atlantic Region Sri Sathya Sai Centers
On National Service Day, October 18, 2025, members from several Mid-Atlantic Sri Sathya Sai Centers lovingly participated in a variety of service activities in honor of Avatar Declaration Day.
Many collaborated with non-profit partners to increase their ability to reach as many people as possible. Activities ranged from feeding the homeless at a historic church to cleaning up a 262-acre park and watershed. Members also prepared personal hygiene kits and returned to help care for native saplings that had been planted the previous year

Pop Up Grocery Store: South Houston, TX
On October 25, 2025, volunteers gathered at CityRise Church in Missouri City, TX, for a Popup Grocery Service, to serve about 100 community members who received groceries and produce, lovingly prepared for distribution. Twenty Sai volunteers—children, young adults, and adults—worked together with unity and dedication to create a warm welcoming environment. With support from Second Servings of Houston, the service provided high-quality food items to families facing food insecurity...
