Gratitude Event: Dallas, TX

The Sri Sathya Sai Baba Center of Dallas (DSC), TX, marked its first-ever Gratitude Event while celebrating over 42 years since its founding in 1983. What began as a volunteer appreciation dinner had naturally evolved into a more expansive community gathering, recognizing those who laid the foundation of the center and those who have sustained it through years of service and dedication. It reflected the strength of shared purpose and the impact that grows when service is rooted in gratitude.

Stitches of Love, Women's Wing of SSSIO-USA Northern California

The women’s wing of SSSIO-USA Northern California launched a beanie‑making project to honor Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s legacy of love and service for His Centennial Year of Advent. They created 100 beanies for women and children undergoing medical treatment, offering warmth, comfort and hope to the recipients. Volunteers reflected on how stitching became meditation, creativity became joy, and service deepened unity and spiritual connection..

Holiday Book Drive : SSSIO - USA North-Central Region SSE Student Council

During the 2026 holiday season, the SSE Student Council of SSSIO-USA North-Central Region, organized a heartwarming service project - a holiday book drive, collecting a bounty of new and gently used storybooks, art supplies, and coloring books - as educational gifts for children in nearby shelters. The initiative saw incredible participation from Sai center families, embodying the teaching: "Service to man is service to God." Through this collective effort, the Student Council provided children with more than just resources—they provided joy, inspiration, and a reminder of the power of community unity.

Hygiene Kits for the Community: Boulder, CO

In honor of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Centennial Advent, 18 members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Boulder, CO, assembled over 30 hygiene kits—transforming more than 200 pounds of simple essentials into offerings of heartfelt devotion. Through this selfless action, they brought comfort and dignity to families in need this holiday season.

Animal care: Memphis, TN

On December 14, 2025, fourteen children and three adults from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Memphis, TN, served sheltered dogs at the Grace Animal Hospital. The youth prepared gift bags filled with blankets and toys, alongside handmade cards. This initiative cultivated empathy and compassion, teaching students that small    acts done sincerely make a meaningful difference. By serving vulnerable animals, the children embodied the core principle: "Love All, Serve All."

From Farm toTable - Kindness at the local library: North Bergen, NJ

The Sri Sathya Sai Center of Jersey City, NJ, has expanded its community partnership with the North Bergen Library, beyond providing free biannual health fair services. Members assist with weekly fresh produce distributions every Thursday. Launched in September 2025, in collaboration with the Coalition for Food and Health Equity, Sai Center members volunteer at the library with the Coalition’s weekly grocery distribution of farm-fresh vegetables to underserved residents. Sai volunteers ensure accessibility through providing home deliveries and shelter donations, embodying the spirit of selfless service
