On the morning of September 27, 2025, a dedicated group of 48 volunteers from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Irving, TX, joined a city-wide beautification initiative. The group, which included 23 adults and 25 young adults from the Sathya Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) program, partnered with Keep Irving Beautiful (KIB) for their annual Trash Bash event.

KIB, a non-profit organization focuses on educating the community in reducing litter, promoting recycling, and beautifying the city's parks, hosted the cleanup at T. W. Richardson Grove Park. Students, their families, and Center members actively engaged in collecting litter and cleaning the park grounds, armed with gloves, trash bags, and a strong spirit of service.

For the SSE students, the day was more than just a cleanup; it was an impactful hands-on lesson in environmental stewardship. Working alongside their peers and elders, they gained a deeper understanding of the importance of caring for Mother Earth while enjoying a fun and fulfilling experience.

The event was a success, proving to be both a meaningful service activity and a valuable learning experience. It not only left the park noticeably cleaner but also instilled in the participants a shared sense of purpose, demonstrating that small acts of service can lead to big changes.
