Stories are the main method for imparting human values to children. Spiritual truths conveyed through stories touch children of all ages at very deep levels. Stories with morals inspire us all to develop good character. Sri Sathya Sai Baba frequently includes stories in His discourses. His way of tying a story to a spiritual principle is the best model for acquiring this skill.
Phase 1: For the purpose of developing the SSE resource library, stories were selected from Sri Sathya Sai Baba's discourses. Since August 2020, a group of experienced SSE teachers went through a rigorous exercise of story selection criteria keeping in mind SSSIO-IT and copyright requirements. The team researched Sri Sathya Sai Speaks, Summer Showers and Vahinis for stories. The final list of 95 stories offered on Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 95 birthday was chosen based on the human values expounded which also set the framework for the search engine below.
