The Institute of Sathya Sai Education – USA with support from the SSIO USA public outreach mission are delighted to host the 2nd Annual Human Values Festival next Saturday, April 6, 2019. This event is completely sold out and we’re expecting 1,000 participants, with 90% of attendees being members from the public at large. We attach a flyer and website  (www.humanvaluesfestival.org) for more information.

This year, we have two nationally renowned musicians as guests: Emmy-Award winner and inspirational speaker, Mrs. Faith Rivera; and legendary bass player and Gold & Platinum R&B musician, Mr. Eddie Watkins – both of whom have now dedicated their lives to brining positivity to the world through music.  The Festival will have an art contest and exhibition focusing on the themes of: Love for all, Becoming Peace, Unity in community, Truth shall set you free, Doing right in every action, Practicing non-violence, and Serving humanity. Some of the event organizers were interviewed by Austin’s most iconic NPR radio host last week. We also have first responders and other “community heroes” being recognized on that day in the name of the SSIO/ISSE.

The event celebrates five universal human values inherent in all of us: Love, Truth, Right Action, Peace and Non-Violence. Hosted by the Institute of Sathya Sai Education – USA, and with support from local schools and  community organizations, the event features: Stage performances by renowned artists; an art-dance-drama-music-creative writing-technology exhibition and elementary contest; community hero awards; and a day of unique family activities and positive fun.
