A Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) teacher, Maria, from the Sri Sathya Sai Group of Orlando, works part-time at a local elementary school. She discovered that a number of parents in her school were struggling to provide basic hygiene items for their children. Maria felt that a hygiene kit drive would be a meaningful service project for her SSE children to undertake. The SSE children, having learned about the plight of the students at the school, collected enough hygiene items such as shampoos, hairbrushes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand soaps, mouthwashes, and body washes to create 40 hygiene kits. They also made 40 cards to show their love for the recipients and to cheer them.  The hygiene kits were greatly appreciated.

The Orlando Sai Group has decided to adopt the elementary school and plans to contribute more needed items in the future, such as shoes and school supplies.
