The Mid-Central Region held its very first Women’s retreat in October 2022 in Nashville, TN, on the theme "Inquiry, Intuition and Inner Strength" based on the three spiritual powers that Sri Sathya Sai Baba attributed to women. The retreat was a beautiful, spiritually uplifting and nourishing event during which participants explored the unmasking of the authentic self (the Atma) and using intuition to harness the inner voice that connects us to the divinity within.
Young adults from the Sri Sathya Sai Centers of Chicagoland, in association with Port Ministries, organized a one-month summer enrichment program where they helped more than 20 children enhance their learning in reading, writing and science, and foster their creativity through arts and craft and robotics.
Sai Prema Nilayam, the Abode of Divine Love, was established in 2022 to invite, inspire, and celebrate divinity in everyone. On November 18 2022, everyone present at the Ladies Day and Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 97th Birthday celebrations felt a double dose of divine love.
Since October 2022, volunteers from various Sri Sathya Sai Centers in the Southeast Region have been delivering much needed relief supplies to communities that were devastated by Hurricane Ian. Sai volunteers have been driving between three to ten hours to drop off the items. A coordinated regional effort was carried out over the Thanksgiving weekend.
