Sai Center members all over the world observe April 24th as Aradhana Day, the day Sathya Sai Baba left His physical form. On this day, they honor His life and legacy in various ways. This year, the Sathya Sai Baba Center of Southeast Denver organized a "Walk for Values” aimed at presenting the five Human Values (Truth, Right-Action, Peace, Love, and Non-Violence) to the local community.

Prior to the event, Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) students made signs and posters of the 5 values  including several inspiring quotes from Sathya Sai Baba such as "Love lives by giving and forgiving; Self lives by getting and forgetting", “Aspire to live in Peace not plenty", "Love as Thought is Truth, Love as Action is Right Conduct, Love as Feeling is Peace, Love as Understanding is Non-Violence". Quotes from great world spiritual leaders, such as Gandhi, were also included.

About 25 Sai Center members met at the Vela Meridian Community Center near Denver. They walked for about 25 minutes around the neighborhood, displaying their signs with enthusiasm and joy. Participants bonded over shared stories of faith and unison songs such as "Love is my Form" while waving their signs and posters.

Some onlookers who observed the Walk for Values asked in curiosity about the event and smiled in approval at the messages on the posters. People in passing cars slowed down with great interest and called out words of encouragement. One man shouted, "Right-on, Man!"

Participants felt that the Walk for Values inspired them and others to focus on the crucial role human values played in building a loving community and expanding beyond the Sai Center to touch the lives of others in the community. The Walk made them reflect on their own lives and the degree to which they practiced Sai Baba’s words "My life is My message; Expansion is My life". To conclude the Walk, a Young Adult speaker shared a message of "Living in Sai" focused on service. The speech was followed by more joyous singing and fellowship. It was an inspirational day of shared Love!
