In honor of the Centennial Celebrations of Sathya Sai Baba, 18 members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Boulder, CO, gathered in selfless service to prepare personal hygiene kits for community members in need. Partnering once again with the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) of Boulder, the center contributed essential supplies based on a list identified by the organization: socks and lip balm; shampoo and conditioner; soap and hand sanitizer; and toothbrushes and toothpaste. Several volunteers contributed additional items to provide extra comfort and care during the winter season.

On Sunday, December 14, 2025, following the center’s weekly meeting, Sai families gathered to assemble the kits. The presence of four children working alongside adults reflected a spirit of unity and shared purpose. Beyond the physical items, volunteers infused each package with loving thoughts and prayers, transforming the kits into expressions of gratitude and devotion.

The atmosphere was one of unity and joy. One volunteer shared: “This service brought me so much joy, reflecting on how each item contributed would benefit the whole community. My heart was so full in the end.”

A young participant added a touching reflection on the experience: “This project made us more aware of people whose basic needs are still unmet—needs we often take for granted. Coming together in this unified manner makes it all more special. Love sharing love.” What began with a goal of 25 kits blossomed into more than 30 completed packages, along with a significant surplus of supplies. In total, approximately 200 pounds of donations were delivered to EFAA—exceeding the previous year’s contribution by 30 pounds. EFAA representatives expressed sincere appreciation for the thoughtful donations, which were distributed to families just before the holidays.

Through this Centenary offering, the Boulder Sai Center demonstrated how love expressed through action becomes a form of worship. Though modest in size, the center’s collective effort multiplied in impact, affirming Baba’s timeless message of compassion. Volunteers left with deep gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate His 100th Birthday by practicing His eternal teaching in daily life: Love All, Serve All.
