On September 13, 2025, a radiant gathering of 54 members from the Sathya Sai Baba Centers of SE Denver and Boulder, CO, came together at the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of the Rockies to honor the sacred Centenary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The uplifting outreach event, wove hearts together in 100-Minutes Sacred Songs, to honor the sacred Centenary of Sathya Sai Baba.
Invitations reached across the Denver area, warmly embracing diverse communities, including Hindu, Nepali, Sikh, and Grace United Methodist Church groups. The result was a gathering rich in unity, devotion, and shared purpose.
The celebration opened with the 100th Birthday Song, followed by SSSIO’s touching video, His Life & Mission. What followed was a stream of melodious, 100 minutes of heartfelt bhajans accompanied by the sacred sounds of harmonium, cymbals, kanjira, and drums, lifting every heart into pure bliss.
The evening concluded with a beautiful Lighting the Lamp of Love, a symbolic reminder of the divine flame glowing eternally within each of us.
Community, Joy, and Heartfelt Connections
A lovingly prepared dinner, offered jointly by the Temple volunteers and Sathya Sai volunteers, nourished the more than 100 attendees who filled the hall with joy. Laughter, togetherness, and sincere heart-to-heart connections filled the air.
Garlands of Grace and Gratitude
Fragrant flowers adorned the altar, and Baba’s picture shone with garlands, including a special floral arrangement in the form of “SAI 100.” These offerings symbolize the deep gratitude felt by every Sai member present.
The evening ended with the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple President warmly offering orange scarves of appreciation to all, blessing everyone with an open invitation to return as One United Sai Family.
A Temple priest shared: "This event touched my heart and lifted my spirit! Many who came for the first time found peace and blessings. Please come again!" A particularly moving moment came when Temple priests recognized the architect of the Temple itself, a senior member of the Sathya Sai Center, honoring his decades of service.
A Divine Reminder from our Beloved Sai
“Devotional singing induces in you a desire for experiencing the truth, to glimpse the beauty that is God, to taste the bliss that is the Self. It encourages man to dive into himself and be genuinely his real Self.” - Sri Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol. VII, pg. 497–498
