100 Minute Sacred Songs , Denver, CO
On September 13, 2025, 54 members of the Sathya Sai Baba Centers of SE Denver and Boulder joined the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of the Rockies to celebrate Sathya Sai Baba’s 100th birthday with 100 Minutes of Bhajans. The event united diverse cultural and faith communities in devotion, beginning with a birthday song, a video on Baba’s life, and uplifting bhajans led by young adults. Over 100 attendees enjoyed a lovingly prepared dinner and heartfelt fellowship. The Temple honored participants with orange scarves and recognized a senior Sai member, the Temple’s architect. The evening radiated unity, gratitude, and Sathya Sai Baba’s message of “Love All, Serve All.”
A Garland of Interfaith Participation, St. Louis, MO
The Sri Sathya Sai Center of Greater St. Louis, MO, affirmed its role as a pillar in the interfaith community by participating in two major summer 2025 events - the Festival of Faiths in St. Louis, and the inaugural Interfaith Festival in St. Charles. Drawing hundreds, these gatherings allowed the Center to build bridges, share Sathya Sai Baba’s message of love and unity, and experience positive responses from the community. The Center's deep commitment to interfaith collaboration—recognized by the Interfaith Partnership—continues through diverse activities, including hosting leaders, interfaith walks, and vital youth engagement.
A Birthday Celebration at Saint John’s Shelter, Sacramento, CA
On June 21, 2025, members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Greater Sacramento, CA, celebrated birthdays with six children at Saint John’s Women and Children’s Shelter. About 15 Sai volunteers and 45 shelter children participated in a joyful afternoon filled with games, gifts, decorations, and cupcakes. A highlight was the hand painting using herbal henna, which delighted both kids and adults. The event fostered connection, laughter, and love. Volunteers left feeling grateful for the opportunity to serve and uplift the shelter community through heartfelt celebration and shared joy.
Life Comes Full Circle - Feeding the Needy, Lake Washington, WA
Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Lake Washington, WA, have been engaged in a service that embodies Swami’s teaching that service is the highest form of love. It began with helping to build nearly 150 tiny homes. Members now serve residents monthly with hot Indian meals, cookies baked by SSE children, and preloved clothing. Organized into neighborhood pods, families cook, deliver, and connect with refugees and neighbors. This circle of service transforms both community and hearts, reminding all that “Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray."
Sai Life Exhibit, Detroit Metro Center, MI
Inspired by Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s centennial, the SSE team of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Detroit Metro, MI poured their devotion into an amazing Sai Life Exhibit. Utilizing simple materials like popsicles sticks, cardboard, clay and Legos, they magically created the story of the Creator, depicting key milestones of His Life. This creative, team-built offering, expressing profound gratitude and faith, was lovingly presented on Guru Purnima, honoring the Ocean of Divine Love.
Monthly Burrito Service-Nourishment with Love, Beaverton, OR
Inspired by the teaching, "Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray," members of the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Center of Beaverton, OR, have lovingly prepared and delivered 60 fresh, homemade burritos every month, for nearly five years to the Women’s and Children’s Shelter in Portland, OR. This collective effort provides nourishment and comfort to the residents, while bringing great joy to all the volunteers.
Second Harvest Food Bank – Addressing Food Insecurity, Orlando, FL
On August 9, 2025, Sathya Sai Baba group members in Orlando, FL, joined hands at Second Harvest Food Bank to sort and repack potatoes to deliver to families in need and send spoiled potatoes as animal feed to a hog farm, living the message “Service to man is service to God.”
