Fifteen SSSIO volunteers from Northern California hosted a community eyeglasses distribution event at the Stockton Shelter for the Homeless, CA to administer basic eye tests and provide reading glasses to 80 individuals. The event significantly improved the lives of attendees, many of whom expressed deep gratitude for the improved ability to see.

This initiative beautifully reflects Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s core values of love, service and compassion, reinforcing the Sai mission to "Love All, Serve All" while also emphasizing environmental consciousness. By opting for eco-friendly packaging and nutritious organic food choices, the initiative aligns with the urgent need to care for the planet while serving humanity.

Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Seattle Eastside, WA, conducted a resume workshop for Ukrainian refugees, offering insights into the U.S. job market and personalized resume guidance. Refugees, with diverse professional backgrounds, gained confidence in their job prospects. In the process, language was identified as a significant barrier, so volunteers plan to launch a Conversational English Tutoring Program in February 2025. SSSIO volunteers aim to continue to empower refugees in their journey towards self-sufficiency.

Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Fairfax, VA, including enthusiastic SSE children, created 150 "Welcome Kits" filled with essential household items for residents moving into Allium Place, an affordable housing community for low-income families. The Volunteer Coordinator from the nonprofit partner praised SSSIO volunteers’ efficiency and unwavering dedication, noting the active participation of the children.

Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Lexington, KY, have been volunteering at God’s Pantry Food Bank several times a year for more than two decades. They sort and repack donated food that is shipped to food banks and meal programs serving impoverished communities across the state.

Members of the Sathya Sai Baba Center of SE Denver, CO, gathered to plant a tree and a variety of colorful flowers at the Grace United Methodist Church. They were inspired by the sincere efforts of a spirited six-year-old SSE child whose love for nature deeply touched everyone.
