Sri Sathya Sai International Organization - USA

A total of 48 members of Sri Sathya Sai Center of Irving, TX, including SSE students, participated in the Keep Irving Beautiful (KIB) Service activity on 27 September 2025. KIB is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the community about reducing litter, recycling, and beautifying Irving city and its parks. Picking up trash in T. W. Richardson Grove Park, Sai volunteers had a joyful time and, at the same time, learned a valuable lesson in the importance of keeping Mother Earth clean.

On August 3, 2025, the Center for Spiritual Living (CSL) hosted an interfaith dialogue with the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Center, Central San Jose, CA. Led by Reverend Marcia Bencala and Sai Center representatives Mohan and Jayanthi Srinivasan, the discussion focused on universal values: love, selfless service, and spiritual unity. Both groups underscored their commitment to daily spiritual practice and inclusivity, with the Sai Center focusing on its service model. Reverend Bencala affirmed a future partnership, celebrating the unifying, transformative power of love and service.

Selecting a career can be overwhelming! To help SSE Group 3 & 4 students (Grades 9-12) find clarity, the Sri Sathya Sai Center Detroit Metro, MI, launched "Sai Career Connections." This unique event leveraged the expertise of Sai professionals to guide youth toward fulfilling careers. Students interacted with engineers, entrepreneurs, doctors, and designers in a supportive environment, focused on building self-confidence and encouraging students to pursue goals with passion and purpose. This project shows how the Sai community can support academic success while reinforcing the principle human values and character make work rewarding.

On July 19, 2025, fifteen volunteers from the Sathya Sai Center of Salt Lake City, UT, dedicated their time to the Utah Food Bank. Embodying Sai Baba's teaching: "Hands that help are holier than lips that pray," the team sorted and packed food donations and beans for families in need, directly supporting the Food Bank’s mission to fight hunger across Utah. The day was marked by camaraderie, joy and devotion, leaving participants deeply moved and spiritually fulfilled by serving others with love.

Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Center of Central San Jose (SSBCSJ), CA, participated in the 1st Annual Peace Walk on Mar 23, 2025, hosted by the Center for Spiritual Living (CSL) at Branhall Park. The walk involved several peace-themed activities such as giving out "peace rocks”. SSBCSJ members carried banners with Sai quotes and sang devotional songs that deeply moved attendees. The event beautifully embodied unity, love, and the spirit of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings.

The Greater St. Louis Scouting Council held the National Day of Prayer and Sacred Text Readings, bringing together youth from various faiths in a unified spirit to share passages from their sacred texts and pray for world peace. In 2025, Sai Spiritual Education students from St. Louis, MO, joined in the uplifting event by performing a song on peace and sharing Sai teachings on finding peace from within.
