Sri Sathya Sai Centers in the Greater Boston area in collaboration with the International Institute of New England (IINE) help newly arrived Afghan refugee families by providing them with groceries during the initial phase of their resettlement.

Samaritan's Purse Shoebox Project, Seattle, WA

Every year, SSE children of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Seattle Eastside are involved in a shoebox project where they pack shoeboxes with essential items and other gifts, along with a personal card. The shoeboxes are then delivered to Samaritan’s Purse, a humanitarian organization which distributes the stuffed shoeboxes as Christmas presents to children in need all over the world.

The Warmth of Food, Love and Perseverance, Ventura, CA

Sai volunteers from Camarillo and Ojai, CA, serve up a hot burrito breakfast to the homeless in to-go bags every first Saturday of the month, along with winter clothing during the cold weather.

Food service & Winter Jacket Donation for Halfway Home Residents, Austin, TX

Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Austin have been serving hot lunches every week to 200 residents of a halfway home in Austin, TX, for more than a decade. Recently, they also distributed socks and winter jackets.
