The City of Richardson, Texas, USA has commemorated the life and teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and for exemplifying the highest ideals of love, truth, peace, right conduct, and nonviolence. In honor of the spiritual leader, universal teacher and humanitarian who has profoundly impacted millions across the world, the city proclaimed the 100th year of the advent of Sri Sathya Sai Baba as a time of reflection, gratitude, and celebration of His divine life, His unifying message and unparalleled service to humanity.

The proclamation also recognizes the humanitarian efforts of His global organization- the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO-USA) – which embodies His vision, values and compassionate service dedicated to uplifting the lives of millions across the globe. The proclamation lauds the SSSIO’s numerous humanitarian efforts including providing healthcare through free medical camps and clinics, free education through Sathya Sai Schools and the Institute of Sathya Sai Education, and humanitarian relief operations in areas severely impacted by disasters.

The proclamation was presented at the SSSIO-USA National Conference in Dallas, Texas and formally handed over to the national officers of the SSSIO-USA organization on the 11th of July. Mr. Amir Omar, the mayor of the city of Richardson, has been deeply inspired by the uplifting spirit of SSSIO-USA Organization which is fueled by the universal message Love All Serve All and Help Ever Hurt Never. Mr. Omar expressed his deep appreciation for this universal call to selfless service that unites religions and reveals the inherent divinity manifested in all beings.

As a united offering of love and immense gratitude, we humbly honor our dearest loving teacher Sri Sathya Sai Baba with this tribute on this auspicious occasion.
