Mrs. Geetha Mohan Ram comes from a family of devotees that has been in Swami’s service for more than six decades. Her granduncle Sheshagiri Rao, was Swami’s personal attendant for more than 20 years. He was also the first priest at Prashanthi Nilayam when it was built in 1950. He came to Swami in 1943. Her father Dr. Padmanabhan, a renowned dental surgeon, was very dear to Swami and served Him in various organizational capacities at Whitefield, Bangalore till 2008. Many of you might recognize him as the person who walked behind Swami during darshansin Whitefield. Geetha's mother Kamala Padmanabhan was appointed by Swami to be the SSE coordinator for Karnataka state in India which she served with distinction for 25 years. She was specially chosen by Swami to be part of the original group that developed the first SSE (Bal Vikas) curriculum under the direction of Bhagawan Himself. Geetha's family was one of the nine families that started the first Akhanda bhajan in 1945 under Swami's direct guidance. They conducted this for 25 years, until Swami declared it into a global event.
Mr. Shitu Chudasama has been a devotee of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for over 40 years. He studied History at London University and graduated in 1993 with a BA honors degree. He went on to do a Master’s degree and then embarked upon a postgraduate degree. He has worked in Asset management for the past 20 years and is a regular speaker and panelist at various Management conferences around the world. Shitu has been through the entire Bal-Vikas/SSE Program in United Kingdom and taught SSE for over 10 years. In 1992, Shitu was awarded the prestigious Frank Denning Scholarship by the London Borough, to undertake research in Prashanti Nilayam on Sathya Sai Education. He spent a whole summer at Bhagawan’s Secondary School in Puttaparthi. Over the years, Shitu has held numerous posts within the Sri Sathya Sai Organization in United Kingdom and Internationally. He was appointed by Bhagawan directly as the first International Youth Coordinator in 2007 just before Bhagawan was to deliver His Divine Discourse during the 3rd World Youth Conference in Sai Kulwant Hall. During his term, Bhagawan blessed Shitu to travel around the world and conduct Zonal Youth Conferences, Bhagawan gave him one year in which to complete this mammoth task. In UK, Shitu has held several senior National positions over the years and was appointment by Bhagawan directly as the National Council President in 2010.
