#4. Love & Discipline Part-1 : My Sai and I

April 13th 2020 @6pm PT / 8pm CT / 9pm ET

Presenters: Sri Akella, Ramya Gopinath Rao, Sanjay Ghandikota (Region 2)

For many of us, Swami's rules and discipline often appear to be in conflict with His universal message of love and service.

At times, we have questions on the rules and discipline aspect that Swami has laid down for us like on gender-separation etc. This leads to questions like "Why should we follow all the rules if we feel Swami's presence even without doing so?" But why does Swami say that discipline is so important? And what on earth does love have to do with it?! Are we constantly trying to adapt Swami to fit our lives rather than the other way around?

The goal of this webinar is to discuss and understand the inter-relationship of these two values, and make them part of a deeper commitment to practice the core principles of Swami's teachings consistently. We will also discuss real-life case scenarios that involve the application of these teachings (the convenient and not-so-convenient ones).
