Relief for Victims of Volcanic Eruption in St. Vincent Island, New Jersey
Members of Sri Sathya Sai Centers of New Jersey worked in partnership with GLAM, a not-for-profit, to collect and ship large barrels of relief supplies to more than 200 families impacted by the volcanic eruption in St. Vincent Island.
Tree Planting Service, North Houston, TX
As part of the Go Green initiative, Sai volunteers, including SSE children, from Sri Sathya Sai Center of North Houston, TX planted 60 trees at Grant Park on May 15th, 2021.
Motherly love at the Cow Sanctuary, Nashville, TN
SSE children, teachers and parents of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Nashville, TN spent a weekend at a cow sanctuary, feeding and taking care of the cows, and learned the importance of protecting and revering them.
Second Chance Initiative, Pacific Northwest Region
Young Adults from Sri Sathya Sai Centers of the Pacific Northwest Region adopted a Second Chance initiative which involved collecting gently-used items from Center members. These items were then redistributed to other Center members, homeless shelters, refugee families and other welfare organizations who had use for these items.
