Religions of the World Tent at the Festival of Nations, St. Louis, MO
Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Greater St. Louis, MO participated with other faith groups at an interfaith event, where they shared the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba on the Unity of Faiths to attendees at the Religions of the World Tent at the recent Festival of Nations.
Backpacks to Warm Hearts, Columbia, MO
Every August, members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Columbia, MO get together to fill backpacks with school supplies and other essential items which are distributed by nonprofit organizations to children in need from immigrant and refugee families as well as children in foster care.
SSE Dog Toy Project, North-Central Region, USA
The Sai Spiritual Education Student Council from the North-Central Region organized and led a dog toy service project during the Labor Day Retreat on September 3, 2022. They recycled old t-shirts donated by Sathya Sai Centers across the region and braided them into 91 dog toys, that were then donated to the Elmbrook Humane Society, Milwaukee, WI.
Learning to Compost, Hartford, CT
Sri Sathya Sai Center of Greater Hartford, CT engaged Sai Spriritual Education (SSE) students and their parents in a unique, educational hands-on session on composting and recycling food scraps into usable compost soil. The session offered the students a practical opportunity to learn how to be good stewards of the planet.
