Every month, Sai volunteers, including SSE children, from the Sri Sathya Sai Center Northeast Atlanta, GA, visit the Daydream Animal Sanctuary where they joyfully care for rescued animals, lovingly tend to a fruit orchard, enthusiastically carry out various farm chores, and learn the importance of being stewards of the earth.
Turning Old Shawls into Hope, Nashville, TN
Sai volunteers from Nashville, TN, creatively reused old materials to sew about 450 tote bags which were then donated to a local shelter, putting into practice principles of sustainability – reduce, reuse, recycle and redesign.
Women’s Wing Initiatives, SSSIO-USA Mid-Atlantic Region
The Women's Wing of the SSSIO-USA Mid-Atlantic Region has launched a wide array of exciting initiatives to empower its members. These include a vibrant online Peer Enrichment Group that provides support and fosters personal growth, an inspirational book club for exploring Sai literature in depth, and an innovative Talk to the Doc initiative that allows women to consult with qualified medical doctors on various personal health issues.

A Sai devotee describes her spiritual journey as she rediscovers her purpose in life by dedicating herself to the role of National Envirocare Coordinator within the SSSIO. She learns in the process the importance of deepening one's own personal spiritual practice to truly affect change in the world.
