Sri Sathya Sai Baba emphasizes the importance of group activities as an important tool to facilitate the blossoming of talents latent in children. Sri Sathya Sai Baba also urges teachers to think of activities that can ensure happiness and harmony for the children in later life. Group activities are integrated as part of the child’s experience and reinforce the value and/or spiritual principle for the lesson. Activities set the stage for children to understand and practice Life Applications.
Beginning in January 2023, the SOuL team reviewed Swami’s Discourses to come up with the Activities. The team members met several times to finalize format, content, and design with a singular focus to keep them simple and user friendly. Several of the Activities listed have been tried and tested in SSE class setting, both in-person and online. All teachers are encouraged to adapt it based on their classroom dynamics and children's needs.
