About Sri Sathya Sai Organization of USA
The Sri Sathya Sai Organization of USA is a non-denominational, voluntary organization of over 200 centers located in all 50 states and coordinated by the Sri Sathya Sai Council of America established in 1975. It is part of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) based in 126 countries. Its members come from all faiths and share a common purpose: to reach the ultimate goal of realization of their innate divinity by practicing love, self reflection, and selfless service.
The members of the Sri Sathya Sai Organization of USA strive toward the transformation of the heart through the expression of love in action, and join with members in over 2000 centers around the world in practicing the inspiring lessons of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Membership is free and open to all.
Sri Sathya Sai Centers in the USA provide a space for spiritual meetings of like-minded individuals, a communion of god-desiring people of all faiths. The goal of participation is ultimately the transformation of self and society. In Sai Centers sincere seekers, students of spirituality and service-minded volunteers gather for spiritual singing, devotional spiritual activities, participation in community service activities, and to study the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

On July 3, 2025, members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Northeast Atlanta, GA, volunteered at Doghead Farm to harvest organic produce, mulch beds and remove weeds, ensuring the produce reached food banks serving food-insecure communities across Georgia. Despite strenuous work, volunteers found the experience rewarding and plan to continue their support for local farms and food access.

Hot meals and Heartfelt Service at Mount Holly Shelter: Cherry Hill, NJ
Every third Saturday, the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Cherry Hill, NJ, serve hot, nutritious meals to 50-75 homeless individuals at Mount Holly Shelter in New Jersey. From 9 am to 2 pm, the shelter is filled with warmth and laughter as 15 dedicated volunteers find their own hearts enriched by this monthly compassionate act of service.

MLK Day of Service Million Meal Pack 2025: Orlando, FL
Seventeen members of the Sri Sathya Sai Group of Orlando, FL, joined numerous other volunteers at the MLK Day of Service Million Meal Pack. They scooped and bagged dehydrated food, contributing to more than a million healthy meals that were distributed throughout Central Florida. This event highlights how seemingly small acts of kindness, done in unity, can achieve remarkable feats.

Free Health and Wellness Fair: Pittsburgh, PA
On April 27, 2025, the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Pittsburgh, PA, hosted a free Health and Wellness Fair at the Second Avenue Commons Shelter. This initiative, in collaboration with local hospitals and the county department of human services, provided vital medical, dental, and mental health services to over 60 homeless individuals. Driven by compassion and the increasing need for healthcare among the homeless, the event showcased selfless service with plans for future outreach.

Tree Planting at the Abode of Supreme Peace: Tracy, CA
About 30 Sai volunteers, including SSE students, celebrated Earth Day by planting sacred and fruit trees at the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Abode of Supreme Peace in Tracy, CA. Building and consecrating a Tulasi shrine awakened a sense of sacredness to the day's activities. Finally, savoring the sweet, harvested sugar juice at day's end reminded them of the profound impact of nurturing plants with love and spirituality.

Feminine Hygiene Kits: Detroit Metro, MI
When disaster strikes, how do you offer comfort from afar? Following the devastating Los Angeles wildfires in January 2025, the Ladies' Group of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Detroit Metro, MI, found a heartfelt way to help by creating beautifully hand-painted bags filled with essential hygiene items which brought a much-needed sense of dignity and hope to women survivors. Their simple act of compassion showed how service can transcend distance and deliver a touching message of love and solidarity.

Maple Seedlings Rescue: Lake Washington, WA
Sai volunteers from the Seattle area led by the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Lake Washington, WA, launched a very unique Envirocare project to rescue 3,000 fragile maple seedlings from the forest floor. These young seedlings, vulnerable to natural threats, were carefully dug up, their delicate roots intact, and transplanted into trays, then moved to a volunteer's home for nurturing. Once grown, they will be planted along nature trails, to enhance the native tree population.

Planting Flowers and Walk for Values: Boulder & SE Denver, CO
On April 26, 2025, members of the Sri Sathya Sai Centers of Southeast Denver and Boulder, CO, collaborated with Heather Gardens Community residents to celebrate Earth Day and welcome spring by planting beautiful flowers. They organized a Walk for Values, joyously carrying signs with values like Peace and Love, which evoked enthusiastic reactions from passersby. The event fostered community spirit and spread Sri Sathya Sai Baba's message of love and service.
